Our community Service Goals:

We want to make a difference in our community, that means being able to apply our skills where people need it most. We partner with amazing community leaders throughout the northern Indiana area to explore how we can offer our services in a way that gives back to our community and uplifts others. Our master craftsmen are always happy to provide quality roofing services, and love making a difference for those in need. Here are some of the amazing programs we’ve been able to work with to make a difference:

GAF-Habitat Community Champions: 2020, 2021

The GAF-Habitat Community Champion Title is awarded to contractors that make a substantial impact working with Habitat For Humanity in their community service initiatives.

According to the GAF Website:

“Over the course of a calendar year, any contractor that completes one Habitat project by installing a roof on the home becomes a GAF-Habitat Community Contractor. The steps are straightforward: cultivate a relationship with a local affiliate, coordinate the plan to understand the material, prepare and submit the project's spec sheet, and install the roof. GAF will give you a marketing support kit detailing how to leverage the important work you'll be doing to support your business.

A contractor who completes at least five projects over five years is considered a GAF-Habitat Community Champion. These contractors receive an expanded support kit, along with special recognition from GAF as great leaders in our community partnership with Habitat for Humanity.”

City of South Bend - Love Your Block 2019

The Cities of Service Program awards grants to those in need, and we were a part of the initial kick off in 2019. We assisted in completing gutter installations and wood repairs for families in need while other community volunteers worked on cleaning up any debris, trash, and assisting local homeowners in need with any additional cosmetic repairs or improvements.

Natural Disaster Assistance:

Asscher Roofing Company wants to help those who have recently been struck by natural disasters. Our natural disaster assistance package means that any household recently struck by a natural disaster may qualify for up to $250 off of their roofing installation and a free safety tarp after signing a contract for a roof replacement with Asscher Roofing Company.

We have this program in place to provide assistance in clean up and care for any home undergoing revitalization due to natural disasters. We have worked with homes and spaces that require advance remediation, and we pride ourselves in providing high quality care for those in need. We consider natural disasters to be any of the following:

• Storm Damage

• Hail Damage

• Tornado/Wind Damage

• Damage caused by Fallen Debris

• Damage caused by broken/faulty pipes

• Damage caused by Fires

Insurance & Financing Assistance:

We believe in caring for everyone equally, and work hard to ensure we provide thorough evaluations and inspections for all needs. We pride ourselves in being able to work with your insurance company to assist you in filing a claim, and providing all necessary documentation and photo evidence. We work with honesty and integrity - meaning Asscher Roofing Company will not manipulate or omit any necessary information when working with insurance claims. In situations wherein insurance does not approve your claim, we also offer financing solutions to help mitigate the costs of your roofing services.

What To Expect:

We want you to be there for you, here’s what you can expect when working with Insurance Claims and Asscher Roofing Company:

• Schedule Your Report: Residential Clients benefit from free roof reports whenever they request an estimate. ($150 for commercial reports)

  • We note all relevant information, take photos to show any damage, and provide a free estimate for repair and replacement costs across price ranges.

• File an insurance claim: If damage exists and the costs exceed your deductible.

  • You can provide us with the information of your insurance company for us to contact them directly as an added courtesy.

• Meet with Insurance Adjuster: To go over the entire report, discuss your claim, and understand why your claim was approved or not.

  • We can also be present at this meeting if you wish.

• Receive Insurance Check (if coverage applies): If approved for your claim, your insurance adjuster will process the claim and you will receive a check for the value of your roof replacement or repair. We will collect deposits and payments via our traditional payment terms in conjunction with your payout.

• Diamond Standard Roofing Service: Once your deposit has been paid, our dedicated team of experts will begin repairing or replacing your roofing system to provide you with high quality reliability and detail oriented work. We follow all the steps of our Diamond Standard Process, and will communicate with you throughout your project.
