Roofing Season 2022 Updates
When is Roofing Season?
Roofing season depends on the weather or climate. Generally in the Michiana area, roofing season can typically begin in March and last until November. Roofers can work around weather conditions in a case of a roofing emergency depending on safety conditions. We take high precautions when it comes to our employees safety at Asscher Roofing Company and for this reason will not conduct work in situations that create hazards for both our clients and our teams.
The best days to install a roof is one without rain, snow, or high winds. Other days may include mild temperatures without extreme low or high temperatures. Roofing in proper conditions makes the job safer and easier on our roofers without comprising the integrity of your roofing system or installs. It is important for clients to know that severe cold and heat, can affect your shingles, void your warranty, and create long term issues regarding your install.
This blog post will cover some of the updates you can expect for the coming roofing season regarding our brand and developments.

Increasing our Offerings
Introducing the Malarkey Shingle roof system
We are excited to introduce new materials for our community to choose from. One of the products we will be introducing are Malarkey Brand shingles. These shingles are up-cycled from tires to assist with reducing the environmental impact from roofing. The shingles are made of a mixture of mostly rubber and some asphalt. This brand of shingle can come in a Class 3 and Class 4 impact resistance while offering highly visible colors resistant to impact, wind, rain, algae, and fire.
Malarkey Shingles can help reduce air pollution from the smog created by granules affected by sunlight, and are only one of the few products we are going to introduce in this upcoming year.
Introducing the New Asscher Roofing Building and showroom
We are excited to announce we will have a new building for Asscher Roofing Company later this year! We will have a storefront with a sign making our building easier to find for our community. We also plan on creating a show room to showcase our products as they will look installed on your home. Additionally we will be creating a storage room to store dry building materials for quick project need.
